Flag Football

Flag football is a non-contact variant of American football in which players wear flags attached to their belts. The primary objective of the game is to advance an inflated oval ball towards the opposing team’s end zone to score points, similar to traditional football. Instead of tackling opponents, defensive players try to remove a flag from the ball carrier’s belt to signify a “tackle.” This eliminates the risk of injury associated with physical tackles and makes the game more accessible to various age groups and skill levels. Flag football can be played recreationally or competitively, and it typically involves teams comprised of varying numbers of players, with rules and field size adjusted accordingly. The sport emphasizes teamwork, strategy, and athleticism while maintaining a focus on fun and inclusivity.
